The brief
A new EV and a period frontage that didn't suit a plastic wall box. The brief was a charger that looked right beside the front door, on a tariff that made overnight charging genuinely cheap.
The challenge
The consumer unit sat at the back of the house, so the run had to stay discreet. The supply also needed PEN-fault protection to avoid earth-rod works in the flower beds.
What we did

Surveyed the supply and confirmed a dedicated 32 A circuit was possible without an upgrade.

Ran the cable on a short, tidy route clipped tight to the mortar line.

Wall-mounted the Simpson & Partners Home 7 with its copper top plate beside the door.
