Do I need an upgraded supply?

Rarely. Most homes are fine with load management, which throttles the charger when the house draws heavily. We check your main fuse and consumer unit first.

How long does installation take?

A standard domestic install is half a day. Longer cable runs, trenching or commercial multi-bay work is quoted with a set schedule.

Can the charger use my solar?

Yes. Solar-matched charging is supported on all the units we fit, so the car can charge from surplus generation only if you prefer.

Georgian townhouse charge point with load management

A tight 60 A supply and a listed frontage. We ran the cable internally through an existing service void and fitted a 7.4 kW unit with CT clamp curtailment, avoiding a supply upgrade entirely.
